Magnolia trees seem to be among the first to show their beautiful flowers, even before Spring has arrived after a long cold winter. The sight of these lovely blooms lifts the heart in anticipation of the warmer sunnier days to come.
A magnolia flower is a wonderful thing to behold and I really love to paint their smooth silky petals with  hidden depths of purest white.
